After a great Christmas with Marnee's and Anne's families and a very long night of packing with little sleep, it was time to leave for the MTC. The morning began with Marnee's family coming to our house with donuts and hugs to say goodbye. Lots of hugs and tears.
Anne and Dee then showed up and drove us to the airport. We had to put our luggage on their trailer hitch luggage carrier. I'm not sure Avery, Hannah and TJ really understood that we were finally leaving on our mission. Again, tearful goodbyes, but no pictures :(
A few days later Anne sent me a text about Avery's prayer "Please bless that Nema and Hepa would return to earth one day."
